Giving Tuesday: Ukrainian Humanitarian Resiliency Project (UHRP)

We are now in our tenth month of supporting our colleagues at EdCamp Ukraine in their efforts to bring light and healing into very dark times for their country and communities. As the most recent surge of attacks remind us, the need for trauma-informed and resiliency-informed care is of utmost importance. Since the beginning of our efforts back in February 2022 — thanks to generosity of people like you who have donated time and volunteer hours — we have been able to provide live webinars orienting people in Ukraine to the CRM Skills; we have updated the iChill app to include Ukrainian as one of the language options; we have provided an online CRM Teacher Training to two cohorts of professionals and community leaders who reside in Ukraine; and we continue to provide ongoing weekly drop-in support groups to help community members apply the CRM skills to the ever-present struggles of living through a war. We received the following message from members of the EdCamp Ukraine team:

Over the past many months, you have become a significant part of our lives. Your ongoing support, your efforts, and your prayers are with us whatever we are going through. You opened your hearts for us on the first days of the full-scale war, and have been teaching us your Resiliency Wisdom ever since. These, together with your beautiful smiles, souls, and personalities, are what we are very grateful for. Today and always.

May the coming holiday season bring you all the warmth and love you deserve and wish for. Thank you for standing with us -- your commitment helps us all bring forward our victory.

With heartfelt love and appreciation to each and all of you,

The EdCamp Team

We are committed to standing with them as they continue to bring light and healing to their families and communities during such dark times. Please join us in our efforts.
